Terms of Use — Vortex.io
Effective as of October 5, 2026
App: Vortex.io · package com.playdude.vortexio
Developer: PlayDude Inc
Contact: contato@playdude.com.br
These terms apply to the use of the game Vortex.io, published by PlayDude Inc. By installing or using the game, you agree to them. If you do not agree, just don't use it and uninstall the app.
Summary: the game is free, shows ads (only a banner and optional rewarded videos, never full-screen ads that open on their own) and offers optional purchases (coins, the "Meu Buraco" skin and "No ads"). No sign-up is needed. Achievements and leaderboards are optional, through Google Play Games.
1. What the game is
Vortex.io is a game where you control a hole that roams the city swallowing everything and growing huge. The rivals in a match are bots that run on the device itself; the game has no chat or communication between players.
2. Who the developer is
Vortex.io is developed and published by PlayDude Inc, contact contato@playdude.com.br.
3. License to use
PlayDude Inc grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use the game on your devices, for personal and non-commercial purposes. You may not:
- copy, modify, decompile, reverse engineer or redistribute the app;
- cheat, exploit bugs in the game or bypass purchases and ads;
- automate matches or scores to climb the leaderboards;
- generate artificial clicks on ads;
- use the game in a way that breaks the law.
4. Coins and virtual items
- Coins and skins are a license to use inside the game, not property. They have no money value and cannot be exchanged, transferred or converted into money.
- Coins are only for skins: nothing that gives an advantage in a match.
- Coin prices, rewards and items may be rebalanced in updates.
5. In-app purchases
- All purchases are processed by Google Play, at the prices shown in the store.
- No ads and the premium skin "Meu Buraco" are permanent purchases, tied to your Google account, and can be restored with Restore purchases on the same account.
- Coin packs are consumable: the coins are credited on the device.
- Refund requests follow Google Play's refund policy.
- No purchase is required to play.
6. Ads
The game shows Google AdMob ads: a strip (banner) at the bottom during a stage and rewarded videos, which only appear when you choose to watch to earn a bonus or double your coins. There is never a full-screen ad that opens on its own. Whoever buys No ads stops seeing the banner and gets the rewards without a video. Ad content is chosen by Google; if something seems inappropriate, let us know at the contact.
7. Leaderboards and achievements (Google Play Games)
Signing in to Google Play Games is optional and enables achievements and global leaderboards. These services belong to Google and follow Google's terms. We may remove scores obtained through cheating, game bugs or automation.
8. Intellectual property
Code, art, sounds, texts and the Vortex.io and PlayDude brands belong to PlayDude Inc. Some of the 3D models come from Kenney's packs (kenney.nl), distributed under the CC0 license (public domain). These terms do not transfer any of these rights.
9. Availability and updates
The game is provided "as is" and may be fixed, updated, changed or discontinued.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, PlayDude Inc is not responsible for indirect damages arising from the use of the game, nor for the content of third-party ads. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law guarantees to consumers.
11. Privacy
How data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
12. Google Play
Installation, updates and purchases go through Google Play, which has its own terms.
13. Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date at the top is updated. The current version is always on this page; continuing to use the game means agreeing to it.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, including the Consumer Defense Code and the General Data Protection Law (LGPD).
