Vortex.io is a game published by PlayDude Inc: you control a hole that roams the city swallowing everything and growing huge. This page explains, plainly, what the game does with information.

Summary: the game has no server of ours and no sign-up: it does not ask for your name, e-mail or phone number. Progress is stored on your device.

What leaves the device goes to Google services: usage statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase), ads (Google AdMob — only a banner and rewarded videos you choose to watch, never full-screen ads that open on their own), purchases (Google Play) and, if you sign in, achievements and leaderboards (Google Play Games).

1. What stays on your device

The game stores in the device's local storage (localStorage):

None of this identifies you, and everything is deleted when you uninstall the game.

2. Data handled by Google services

ServiceWhat forData
Google Analytics for FirebaseAnalytics: understanding how the game is played to improve itGame events (see section 4), random app instance identifier, device model, Android version, language, approximate country/region, app version
Google AdMobAdvertising: showing, measuring and (where allowed) personalizing adsAndroid advertising ID and device data, ad interactions
Google Play BillingProcessing in-game purchasesProduct purchased and transaction identifier (payment is handled entirely by Google)
Google Play Games Services (optional)Achievements and global leaderboardsYour Google Play Games player profile, achievements and scores
Google Play (in-app review)Showing the standard app review windowHandled by Google itself

This data is handled by Google under the Google Privacy Policy. PlayDude Inc does not sell anyone's information.

3. Ads (Google AdMob)

4. Usage statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase)

The game records events so we can understand how it is played:

Purpose: Analytics (improving the game). In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, collection only starts after you answer the consent form.

5. Google Play Games (optional)

Signing in to Google Play Games is optional. With sign-in, the game sends your achievements and the scores of the global leaderboards ("Account XP" and "Best score"); your profile name and avatar appear according to Play Games' own privacy settings. Without sign-in, everything stays only on the device. You manage this data in the Google Play Games app and at myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy.

6. In-game purchases

Items for sale: coin packs (consumable), the premium skin "Meu Buraco" and "No ads" (permanent). Payment is handled entirely by Google Play: we do not receive card numbers or bank details. The app keeps only the product and the transaction identifier, to deliver the item and allow Restore purchases. Refunds follow Google Play's rules. Coins have no money value, cannot be transferred and are only for skins — nothing that gives an advantage in the game.

7. Rating on Google Play

After a completed stage, Google Play may show the standard app review window (In-App Review API). It is a screen of Google itself.

8. Children

The game is for all ages, but it is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Parents and guardians can write to lgpd@playdude.com.br at any time.

9. What the game does NOT do

10. How long and how to delete

11. Your rights

You have the rights provided by the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13.709/2018) and, depending on your country, the GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA: to know what is processed, correct, delete and withdraw consent. Since we have no server of our own and no user accounts, we keep no data about you on our side. For data handled by Google, use myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy; for anything else, talk to us.

12. Security

All communication between the game and Google services uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS).

13. Third-party service policies

14. Changes to this policy

If the game starts handling data in a different way, this page is updated before the new version reaches the store, and the effective date at the top changes with it.
