Terms of Use — Daily Psalm (Salmo Diário)

Effective as of October 9, 2026

1. The app

Salmo Diário is a free app to support personal prayer: it shows the responsorial psalm of the day's Catholic liturgy, records the readings you finish and can remind you daily. It does not replace the official liturgy or the guidance of your community.

2. Content

The biblical and liturgical texts belong to their rights holders. The app shows the source of each reading and a link to the official liturgy; if there is any difference, the official publication prevails. The app never completes or invents text: if the day's reading is not available, it says so.

3. Availability

The psalm is obtained from an external source, which may be offline at times. In those cases the app shows the copy already stored for that same day, if there is one, or points to the official liturgy. The app is provided as is, with no guarantee of uninterrupted operation.

4. Personal use

The app is for personal and non-commercial use. When sharing a reading, use the app's own tools, which respect the rights to the texts.

5. Privacy

See the Privacy Policy. In short: in this version nothing about you leaves the device.

6. Changes

These terms may be updated; the effective date at the top changes with them.
