Summary: Kings in Check — Living Chess is free and has ads (an optional video that unlocks helpers in a match and a banner at the top); the optional "No ads" purchase removes the banner and unlocks the helpers. You can play as much as you like for fun; you just can't copy, resell or modify the game, or use it to harm other people.

1. Acceptance

By installing or using the game, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the game. Minors should use the game with their parents' or guardians' knowledge.

2. What the game offers

3D chess matches against the computer, with chess rules, cameras, music, sound effects, achievements and records. Google Play Games features (achievements and leaderboards) depend on the optional sign-in to your Google account and on Google's own rules. In each match, the first "Hint" and the first "Undo" are free; after that, a rewarded video watched to the end unlocks both until the end of the match. If the ad doesn't load or is closed before the end, nothing is unlocked on that attempt.

2A. "No ads" purchase

A one-time, optional purchase made through Google Play, valid for the Google account used for the purchase: it removes the ad banner and unlocks "Hint" and "Undo" without ads, in this and future versions of the game. It can be restored with the "Restore purchases" button in Settings. Refunds follow Google Play's rules. Rights under the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code still apply.

3. Permitted use

You may use the game for personal and non-commercial purposes.
Copying, decompiling, modifying, redistributing or reselling the game or its parts (code, images, models, music and sounds) is not allowed, except where the law permits.
Using the game to cheat Google Play Games leaderboards or achievements is not allowed.

4. Ownership

The Reis em Xeque name, the PlayDude brand, the music and the sound effects belong to PlayDude. Third-party components (such as the Three.js library and the Cinzel font) follow their own licenses, listed on the game's Credits screen.

5. No warranties

The game is provided "as is". We do our best for it to work well, but we do not guarantee that it will be free of errors or that it will work on every device. The computer's strength in matches may change between versions.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, PlayDude is not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the game, such as loss of progress stored on the device. Nothing in these terms excludes rights guaranteed by the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code (Law 8.078/1990).

7. Changes and termination

We may update the game and these terms. When the terms change, the effective date at the top changes with them. We may also stop offering the game in the store at any time.
