Privacy Policy — Kings in Check (Reis em Xeque)

Effective as of October 17, 2026 (version 0.6: top banner and "No ads" purchase)

App: Reis em Xeque — Xadrez Vivo (Kings in Check — Living Chess) · package com.playdude.reisemxeque
Developer: PlayDude
Contact: contato@playdude.com.br

Summary: Kings in Check — Living Chess is a 3D chess game against the computer, with pieces that fight on every capture. It does not ask for sign-up, does not create an account and has no PlayDude server. PlayDude does not collect, receive or share personal data from players. Settings, statistics, achievements and records are stored on the device itself. The game shows ads from Google AdMob: a rewarded video that you choose to watch to unlock hints and undo in a match, and a strip (banner) at the top of the screen — never a full-screen ad without you asking (section 3). The optional "No ads" purchase, made through Google Play, removes the banner and unlocks the helpers without ads (section 5). Google Play Games sign-in is optional and only serves to take achievements and records to your Google account.

1. Data that stays only on your device

The game stores some information in the device's local storage, so you don't lose your choices and progress from one match to the next:

This information is not sent to PlayDude. It does not identify you (there is no name, age, photo, e-mail or location) and it is gone when you clear the app's data or uninstall it, unless you use Google Play Games (section 4).

2. What the game does not do

3. Ads (Google AdMob)

The game shows two types of ads, served by Google AdMob:

The AdMob SDK, built into the app, may collect and send to Google device identifiers (including the Android advertising ID), technical information about the device and connection (model, system, language, approximate IP address) and interactions with the ads (views and taps). Google uses this data to show and measure ads, limit repetition, prevent fraud and, when you allow it, personalize ads. PlayDude does not receive this data individually; it only sees aggregated reports. Learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Consent: where the law requires it (for example, in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), the game asks for your consent before showing ads and offers the "Privacy options" button in Settings to change your choice. You can also reset or turn off the advertising ID in Android settings.

4. Google Play Games (optional sign-in)

If you sign in with Google Play Games, the game:

This data stays in your Google account, under the Google Privacy Policy; PlayDude has no access to your account. You can delete it in Play Games Settings → Delete Play Games data. Without sign-in, none of this is sent and the game works the same.

5. Google Play

"No ads" purchase: it is optional and made through Google Play's payment system. PlayDude does not receive or store your payment data; the game only learns that the purchase exists (and the transaction number), to remove the ads and restore the purchase if you reinstall the game.

The game is distributed through Google Play. Downloads, updates and store reviews are handled by Google, under the Google Privacy Policy. When it opens, the game may ask Google Play itself whether there is a newer version, to show a notice on screen; after a win, it may show Google Play's rating request (at most once per version). These checks are done by the Play service on the device and send no player data to PlayDude.

6. Android permissions

PermissionWhat for
INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATELoading ads and talking to Google Play (Play Games, new version notice and rating). Without internet, matches work normally; only the ads (and the helpers they unlock) are unavailable.
AD_IDReading the Android advertising ID for Google AdMob ads (section 3).
BILLINGMaking the optional "No ads" purchase through Google Play (section 5).

7. Sounds, music and graphics

The music and sound effects come inside the app or are generated by the device itself, and the 3D board is drawn on the device. None of this uses the internet or the microphone.

8. Children

The game is rated for everyone and is not specifically directed at children. PlayDude collects no personal data; ads follow Google AdMob's rules. We recommend that parents and guardians supervise children's use of devices and decide about Google Play Games sign-in.

9. Your rights and how to contact us

Since the game sends no data to PlayDude, we have no data of yours to show, correct or delete. To delete what stays on the device, use Android Settings → Apps → Reis em Xeque → Storage → Clear data, or uninstall the game. For Play Games and ads data, use your Google account controls at myaccount.google.com. You can exercise the rights provided by the LGPD (Brazilian Law 13.709/2018) and the GDPR by writing to lgpd@playdude.com.br.

10. Changes to this policy

If the game changes (for example, if it adds other purchases or some service that handles data), this page will be updated before the new version reaches the store, with the new effective date at the top.
