Privacy Policy — InfraFoto

Effective as of October 26, 2026 (version 0.4, free mode)

App: InfraFoto · package com.playdude.infrafoto
Developer: PlayDude
Contact: lgpd@playdude.com.br

Summary: InfraFoto is a watermark camera for recording field service work. Photos and settings stay on your device. The app does not ask for sign-up, does not show ads and does not use analytics or tracking tools.

The app uses the internet only to build the mini-map, find the street name and, if you set it up, look up work orders in your company's system. PlayDude receives none of this data.

1. Data that stays on your device

The app's data is not included in cloud backups or device-to-device transfers.

2. Camera

The camera is used to take the photos. Without this permission the app does not work.

3. Location (optional)

Location is used to write the coordinates, the street name and the mini-map in the watermark. You can deny the permission and use the camera normally; in that case the photo is saved without location. The app only reads the location while the camera screen is open, never in the background.

Mini-map

To draw the map, the app downloads images of the area where you are from the OpenStreetMap (street map) or Esri (satellite) servers. These services receive the request for the area image (about 300 m) and the device's internet address, as with any website visit. The images are kept on the device. You can turn the mini-map off in the photo settings.

Street name

With the "Address" field on, the app asks the device's own location service to convert the coordinates into an address. This is a system service (on Android, usually Google's) and may query the internet with the coordinates. InfraFoto keeps only the text written on the photo. You can turn the field off in the photo settings.

4. Work order lookup (optional)

If you add the address and access key of your company's work order system, the app sends the work order number you type to that address, to fetch its title. The key is stored encrypted on the device. What that system does with the request follows your company's rules.

5. Google Calendar and Google account (optional)

If you turn on the Calendar, the app asks for permission to the device's calendar, reads today's events of the chosen Google account and writes one line per photo (time and work order number) in the description of the linked event. The calendar keeps being synced by Android itself; InfraFoto does not send events to any server.

The account is chosen with Android's account picker. The app keeps only the account name: it receives no password and no access to the account.

6. Sharing

The app only shares a photo when you tap "Share" and choose the destination app (for example, WhatsApp). From then on, the rules of the chosen app apply.

The watermark is part of the image: whoever receives the photo will see what is written on it, including coordinates, street, map and names, if you turned those fields on.

7. Date, time and location on the photo

This information is provided by the device at the time of the photo and may be incorrect.

8. What the app does not do

9. App permissions

Permission What it is for
CAMERA Taking the photos.
ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION Optional. Coordinates, street name and mini-map in the watermark. It can be denied or revoked at any time without preventing the use of the camera.
INTERNET Downloading the mini-map and, when you turn these features on, finding the street name and looking up the work order in your company's system.
READ_CALENDAR, WRITE_CALENDAR Optional, only if you turn on the Calendar. Reading today's events and noting the photos in the chosen event.
com.playdude.infrafoto.DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION Internal permission generated by the AndroidX library to protect the app itself. It gives access to no data.

10. Children

InfraFoto is a work tool and is not directed to children.

11. Data deletion and your rights

PlayDude keeps no server or database with information about users of this app. Delete photos in the app itself or in the device's gallery. Settings, integrations, the internal record and downloaded maps are removed in Android Settings → Apps → InfraFoto → Storage → Clear data, or when you uninstall; photos already saved in the gallery remain until you delete them, and lines written in calendar events stay there until you edit them. For any request about your data, write to lgpd@playdude.com.br.

This covers the rights provided by the LGPD (Brazilian Law 13,709/2018), the GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA.

12. Changes to this policy

If a future version adds company accounts, photo upload to the cloud or galleries shared by link, or handles data in another way, this page is updated before the new version reaches the store, and the effective date at the top changes accordingly.
