Privacy Policy — Farm-TD
Last updated: August 16, 2026
Farm-TD exists in two forms, with different privacy in each:
Web version (page in the browser or offline HTML file): collects no data at all. It runs 100% offline, with no network, no account, no ads and no purchases.
Android app (Google Play, published as Farm TD: Merge Tower Defense): shows ads (Google AdMob), offers in-app purchases (Google Play Billing), has optional leaderboards and achievements (Google Play Games Services) and uses local notifications to tell you about chests. The developer has no server of its own and does not collect, receive or store any personal data — the data described below is collected directly by the Google services used in the app, not by us.
1. The two versions of the game
Farm-TD is a merge tower defense game: the farm defends itself from pests by merging cards of veggie warriors, played alone (single player). It is distributed in two forms, which behave differently regarding data:
- Web version — played directly in the browser or as a single HTML file that works offline. It makes no network requests, shows no ads, has no purchases and collects no data.
- Android app — published on Google Play as Farm TD: Merge Tower Defense (package
com.playdude.farmtd). Besides the game itself, it includes ads (Google AdMob), in-app purchases (Google Play Billing), optional leaderboards and achievements (Google Play Games Services) and local notifications, described in sections 3 to 6 below.
Everything described in sections 3 to 6 (ads, purchases, Google Play Games Services and notifications) applies only to the Android app — the web version never had and does not have any of these features.
2. What is the same in both versions
- There is no account, sign-up, e-mail or password created by the game itself, in either version.
- The game is single player and offline by nature — it does not depend on a server to work.
- The developer has no server of its own and collects no data directly.
- There is no Google Analytics or behavior tracking inside the game, beyond what the third-party services in section 8 already do under their own policies.
- The developer does not sell or rent data to anyone.
3. Ads — Google AdMob (Android app only)
Android app only
The Android app shows ads through the Google AdMob network: a discreet banner in the menus and rewarded ads, which are always optional — you choose to watch them to receive a reward, they are never forced in the middle of a match. To show and measure these ads, AdMob collects, directly on your device:
- Device advertising identifier (Advertising ID);
- IP address;
- Device model, operating system and language;
- Interactions with ads (views, taps).
This data goes directly to Google, which acts as an independent controller of this information — the Farm-TD developer does not receive, see or store any of this data.
You can manage, reset or delete your device's advertising identifier at any time in Android Settings → Google → Ads (the exact path may vary depending on the Android version).
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will see a consent form (UMP — User Messaging Platform) before the ads, as required by the GDPR.
More details: Google Privacy Policy and Google partner policy.
4. In-app purchases — Google Play Billing (Android app only)
Android app only
The Android app offers optional purchases, processed entirely by Google Play Billing:
- Diamond packs — consumable items, the game's premium currency.
- No Ads — non-consumable item that removes the ads.
- Farmer's Pack — non-consumable item.
The developer only receives the confirmation that the purchase exists, to unlock the purchased item. The developer has no access to card numbers, bank details or billing address — that stays entirely with Google.
Non-consumable purchases (No Ads, Farmer's Pack) are tied to your Google account and can be restored if you reinstall or change devices.
5. Google Play Games Services (Android app only)
Android app only
Farm-TD has 4 leaderboards and 13 achievements. If you choose to connect your Google Play Games account — something completely optional, the whole game works without it —, Google Play Games starts handling your gaming profile, including:
- Google Play Games display name;
- Scores sent to the leaderboards and achievement progress.
The Farm-TD developer does not receive your e-mail, your password or any other data from your Google account — only Google Play Games has access to this profile, under the Google Privacy Policy.
6. Local notifications (Android app only)
Android app only
The app schedules local notifications on your device to let you know when a chest finishes opening. These notifications are generated and shown entirely by the Android system itself — they do not go through any server, neither ours nor Google's.
No data is sent off the device because of these notifications. You can turn them off at any time in Android Settings → Apps → Farm TD → Notifications.
7. What is saved on your device
The app stores data locally on your device (local storage / localStorage), under the following keys:
farmtd_meta_v1— your permanent progress: coins, seeds, diamonds, card levels, chests, chapter and achievements.farmtd_run— a snapshot of the match in progress, to resume where you left off if the app closes.base_config— your sound, music and language preferences.farmtd_tut_v1andfarmtd_tut_armadura_v1— flags indicating which tutorials you have already seen.
None of these keys contains your personal information — only the game state. Everything stays exclusively on your device and is gone when you uninstall the app or clear its data (Android Settings → Apps → Farm TD → Storage → Clear data).
8. Who data is shared with
The Farm-TD developer does not sell, rent or share data with anyone — because it collects none directly. In the Android app, the only third parties involved are:
- Google AdMob — advertising identifier, IP, device data and ad interactions (section 3).
- Google Play Billing — payment data, to process purchases (section 4).
- Google Play Games Services — gaming profile, leaderboards and achievements, only if you choose to connect (section 5).
Each of these services handles data under the Google Privacy Policy; in none of the three cases does the developer receive, see or store this data.
9. Children
Farm-TD is rated for ages 13 and up and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
10. Your rights under the LGPD
Under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Law 13.709/2018), you have the right to confirmation that processing exists, access, correction, deletion and other rights over personal data processed about you.
In the web version, no personal data about you is collected for you to exercise these rights over. In the Android app, the data handled by AdMob, Google Play Billing and Google Play Games Services stays with Google, not with the developer — the developer does not hold this data to delete or correct it. To exercise your rights over this data, use Google's own channels:
- Manage/delete the advertising identifier: Android Settings → Google → Ads;
- Google Privacy Center: myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy.
Any question or request about the game itself can be sent directly to the contact below.
11. Changes to this policy
If this policy is updated in the future, the new version will be published on this same page, with the date at the top updated. We recommend reviewing this page from time to time.
