Summary: Dude Survival is a survival game where Dude, PlayDude's little robot, faces waves of little monsters with spells. It does not ask you to sign up and does not create an account of its own, and PlayDude has no server behind the game: your progress is stored on the device itself. The game shows ads from Google AdMob, offers optional purchases through Google Play and, for those who use Google Play Games, records achievements and leaderboards; it is these Google services that handle data, as explained below.
1. Data that stays only on your device
The game stores some information in the device's local storage, only so you don't lose what you have achieved from one match to the next:
- Progress — stages and chapters completed, records, missions, coins, diamonds, skins, accessories and upgrades.
- Tutorial — which of Dude's explanations you have already seen, so he doesn't repeat everything.
- Preferences — language, sounds, music and vibration.
- Purchases — whether "No ads" is active on this device.
This information is not sent to PlayDude: there is no server, account or sync of ours behind the game. It is gone when you clear the app's data or uninstall it.
2. Ads (Google AdMob)
The game shows a strip (banner) at the top during a match and rewarded videos, which only appear when you choose to watch them. There is never a full-screen ad that opens on its own. Ads are served by Google AdMob, whose SDK, built into the app, may collect and send to Google:
- device identifiers, including the Android advertising ID;
- IP address, also used to estimate approximate location (country or region);
- interactions with ads (views and taps);
- diagnostic data (performance and crashes of the SDK itself).
Google uses this data to show and measure ads, limit repetition, prevent fraud and, when you allow it, personalize ads. PlayDude does not receive this data individually; it only sees aggregated reports (how many ads were shown and the revenue). Learn how Google handles this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Your choices:
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game shows Google's consent form before the first ad. You can change your choice at any time in Options → Privacy options.
- In any country, you can reset or delete the advertising ID in Android Settings → Google → Ads.
- The No ads purchase removes the banner and grants rewards without videos.
3. Purchases (Google Play)
Diamond packs and "No ads" are bought through Google Play. Payment, billing data and purchase history are handled by Google, under Google's privacy policy. The game receives from Google Play only the confirmation that the purchase was completed (product and order identifier) to unlock the item on the device. PlayDude does not receive or store card, address or ID document data.
4. Google Play Games (achievements and leaderboards)
The game uses Google Play Games for achievements and global leaderboards. If you have a Play Games profile on the device, the game signs in to it when it opens; if you don't, you can decline the invitation and keep playing normally, with achievements and records stored only on the device.
With the profile connected, the game sends to Google:
- the achievements you have unlocked;
- the scores of the "Highest stage reached" and "Monsters defeated" leaderboards.
Google links this data to your player profile (Play Games identifier, name and avatar), and your name may appear on the leaderboards to other players, according to Play Games' own privacy settings. PlayDude does not receive your e-mail or your Google account, and does not store this data on a server of its own. Match progress, coins and items are not sent: they stay only on the device.
You control all of this in the Google Play Games app and at myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy, where you can also delete this game's Play Games data.
5. What the app does not do
- It does not have its own account or sign-up, and does not ask for an e-mail, phone number or name (the only sign-in is Google Play Games, described above).
- It does not have chat, messages or any communication between players.
- It does not use its own statistics, analytics or crash reporting tool.
- It does not access contacts, photos, camera, microphone, files or precise location (GPS).
- It does not sell personal data.
- It does not show full-screen ads that open on their own.
6. App rating (Google Play)
After a win, the game may ask Google Play to show the standard app rating window (at most once per version). This window belongs to Google Play itself: PlayDude receives no data through it, and only sees the public rating you choose to leave in the store.
7. App permissions
| Permission | What it is for |
|---|---|
INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE | Loading ads, talking to Google Play for purchases and opening the rating window. The matches themselves run offline. |
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID | Allows Google's ads SDK to read the device's advertising ID. |
com.android.vending.BILLING | Purchases through Google Play. |
ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTION and ACCESS_ADSERVICES_TOPICS | Declared by Google's ads SDK for Android's privacy-preserving advertising APIs (Privacy Sandbox). |
WAKE_LOCK and FOREGROUND_SERVICE | Declared by Google's libraries (ads and purchases) to finish short tasks in the background. The game does not run in the background. |
VIBRATE | Short vibration on taps and hits (can be turned off in Options → Vibration). |
com.playdude.dudesurvival.DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION | Internal permission generated by Android's AndroidX library to protect the app itself. It gives no access to any data. |
8. Children
Dude Survival is not directed at children: the target audience declared on Google Play is 13 years or older. Parents and guardians with any concern can write to lgpd@playdude.com.br.
9. Data deletion and your rights
PlayDude has no server or database with player information, so there is no data in our custody to export or delete. What stays on the device is controlled by you: Android Settings → Apps → Dude Survival → Storage → Clear data, or uninstall the app. For data handled by Google (ads, purchases and Play Games), use your Google account controls at myaccount.google.com and the advertising ID in Android settings. You can exercise the rights provided by the LGPD (Brazilian Law 13.709/2018), the GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA by writing to lgpd@playdude.com.br.
10. Security
The information saved by the game stays in the app's private storage area, isolated by Android itself from the other apps on the device. Communication with Google services uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
11. Changes to this policy
When the app starts handling data in a different way, this page is updated before the new version reaches the store, and the effective date at the top changes with it. Previous versions: October 11, 2026 (before Google Play Games achievements and leaderboards) and October 8, 2026 (the game did not yet have ads or purchases).
