Terms of Use — Desvende
Effective as of October 15, 2026
App: Desvende — Mysteries and Riddles · package com.playdude.desvende
Developer: PlayDude
Contact: contato@playdude.com.br
These terms apply to the use of the game Desvende, published by PlayDude. By installing or using the game, you agree to them. If you do not agree, just don't use it and uninstall the app.
Summary: the game is free, shows an ad banner and offers one optional purchase, "No ads". No sign-up or account is needed. The cases are fictional mystery stories.
1. What the game is
Desvende is a party game on the phone to play with friends: one person reads the riddle out loud and sees the solution; the others ask questions and that person only answers yes, no or irrelevant, until someone solves the case. The game runs on the device itself; it has no chat or communication between players through the app. The target audience declared on Google Play is 13 years or older.
2. Who the developer is
Desvende is developed and published by PlayDude, contact contato@playdude.com.br.
3. License to use
PlayDude grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use the game on your devices, for personal and non-commercial purposes. You may not:
- copy, modify, decompile, reverse engineer or redistribute the app;
- copy, publish or sell the game's cases and texts outside of it;
- bypass purchases and ads or generate artificial clicks on ads;
- use the game in a way that breaks the law.
4. Game content
- All cases are fictional mystery and riddle stories, created for the game. Names, people and situations are invented; any resemblance to real events or people is coincidental.
- Cases may involve crimes, accidents or deaths as part of the riddle, always told without graphic violence and without explicit images.
- The "Based on true events" case pack appears in the game as coming soon: it is not on sale yet and cannot be purchased. When it launches, the price and content will be shown in the store before purchase, and these terms will be updated.
5. In-app purchases
- All purchases are processed by Google Play Billing, with the prices shown in the store before confirmation. The game does not see your payment details.
- No ads is a one-time, permanent purchase (R$ 9.99 in Brazil), tied to your Google account, that removes the banner. It can be recovered in Settings → Restore purchases on the same account.
- Payments that remain pending (for example, boleto or Pix in Brazil) only unlock the item after Google Play confirms the payment.
- Refund requests follow Google Play's refund policy.
- No purchase is required to play.
6. Ads
The game shows Google AdMob ads: only a strip (banner) at the bottom of the screen while a card is open. There are no full-screen, app-open or video ads. Whoever buys No ads stops seeing the banner. Ad content is chosen by Google; if something seems inappropriate, let us know at the contact.
7. Google Play Games
Google Play Games sign-in is optional and is used for achievements. Use of Play Games follows Google's terms and privacy policy.
8. Intellectual property
Code, art, sounds, texts, the game's cases and the Desvende and PlayDude brands belong to PlayDude. These terms do not transfer any of these rights.
9. Availability and updates
The game is provided "as is" and may be fixed, updated, changed or discontinued. Progress is stored on the device: clearing the app's data or uninstalling the game deletes the solved cases.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, PlayDude is not responsible for indirect damages arising from the use of the game, nor for the content of third-party ads. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law guarantees to consumers.
11. Privacy
How data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
12. Google Play
Installation, updates and purchases go through Google Play, which has its own terms.
13. Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date at the top is updated. The current version is always on this page; continuing to use the game means agreeing to it.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, including the Consumer Defense Code and the General Data Protection Law (LGPD).
