Privacy Policy — XP Button 2

App: XP Button 2 · package com.playdude.xpbutton2

Summary: the game does not ask you to sign up, does not create an account and does not send data to the developer. There is no server behind it — your progress is stored on the device itself.

Two things leave the device, and both go to Google: the Android advertising identifier, used by Google AdMob to show the ads, and Google Play Games authentication, if you choose to sign in with your account.

1. Data that stays only on your device

The game stores some information in the device's local storage (localStorage), only so you don't lose your progress and preferences from one session to the next:

This information is never transmitted to the developer: there is no PlayDude server, account or sync behind the game. It is gone when you uninstall the app.

2. Data collected by third parties (ads)

The app shows a banner at the bottom of the game screen and an optional rewarded video, which only appears if you choose to watch it to activate the 5X boost. Both come from the Google AdMob network. To deliver and measure these ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK itself collects, directly on your device:

Data What for Who collects it
Android advertising identifier (AD_ID) Showing ads, limiting repetition of the same ad, measuring performance and preventing fraud Google AdMob
Technical information about the device and app (model, operating system, language, approximate IP) Delivering the ad in the right format and language Google AdMob

This data goes directly to Google, which acts as an independent controller of this information — PlayDude Inc does not receive, see or store any of it.

In the Google Play Data safety declaration, this is recorded as "Device or other IDs", collected and shared, for the purposes Analytics, Advertising or marketing and Security, compliance and fraud prevention.

More details: Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses data in AdMob.

3. Google Play Games Services

The game has 10 achievements (200 points each, 2000 in total) and a leaderboard called "Total taps", both hosted on Google Play Games Services.

Signing in with your Google account is optional. Without signing in, the game works normally and achievements are recorded only on the device.

If you choose to sign in, this data is handled by Google Play Games itself. On the app's side:

More details: Google Privacy Policy.

4. What the app does not do

5. Consent (EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app shows the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent form before loading any ad, so you can choose between personalized and non-personalized ads. Ads are only initialized if the consent allows it.

Your choice is recorded on the device itself and can be changed at any time in the same form.

6. How to limit personalized advertising

In any region, you can manage the device's advertising identifier in Android Settings → Google → Ads, where you can reset or delete it (the exact path may vary depending on the Android version).

If you delete the identifier, you keep seeing ads — just not personalized ones.

7. Children

XP Button 2 is not directed at children: the target audience declared on Google Play is 13 years or older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Parents and guardians with any concern can write to lgpd@playdude.com.br.

8. Data deletion

We declared on Google Play that we do not offer a data deletion request mechanism, because there is no data in our custody: uninstalling the app deletes everything it stored on the device.

9. Data subject rights

Since there is no server or database with user information, there is nothing in our custody to export or delete — everything the game stores stays on your device, and uninstalling the app removes it all.

For data handled by Google AdMob (section 2) and Google Play Games Services (section 3), rights are exercised with Google, which controls it:

This applies to the rights provided by the LGPD (Brazilian Law 13.709/2018), the GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA. Any question about the game itself can be sent to the contact in section 12.

10. Security

The only network communication the app makes is the ad request from Google's SDK and the Google Play Games authentication — both transmitted over HTTPS.

11. Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app changes what is collected, this page is updated before the new version reaches the store, and the effective date at the top changes with it. The new version applies from its publication at this same URL. We recommend reviewing this page from time to time.
