About the game
The door closed slowly. His keys stayed on the table. And the house, which had been coming apart bit by bit, is now Clara's alone.
Little Fresh Starts is a story game where you do things with your own finger. No merging pieces, no waiting for energy to refill: if the window is dirty, you are the one wiping it.
IN THIS FIRST CHAPTER
- Clean the window: the dirt only comes off where the cloth passes, and the afternoon light comes back into the room.
- Scrub the moldy walls and sweep the trash and rubble off the floor.
- Tidy the living room: take the books to the shelf, the cushions and the blanket to the sofa, the mug to the table.
- Stay with Clara through a hard day, and find out what was hidden under the blanket.
WHAT YOU CHANGE STAYS CHANGED
The clean window stays clean. The book stays where you left it. Close the game and come back later: the house is how you left it.
A HOUSE TO FIX LITTLE BY LITTLE
The house starts out wrecked: mold on the walls, fallen plaster, torn curtains, a pane patched with cardboard. Cleaning does not fix everything, and the story does not pretend it does. The repairs come in the next chapters.
Early access: this is chapter 1, a short one, and the sounds are still placeholders. Tell us what you think!
